SF UnButtoned
UnButtoned is an adult classified advertising supplement for SF Weekly. I gave the site a dynamic re-design in 2001, and its design has since been revamped again. The screen shot at right represents the first re-design I did. I continued to update the site weekly for several years.
Designed using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and ImageReady 3.0.

Taste / Menu of Menus
SF Weekly Taste was a yearly advertising supplement featuring menus of area restaurants. Putting a "Taste" section online involves converting each of the menus to a web-ready image and creating the framework for the menus to flow into. Each of the New Times papers had one of these supplements, and they were all linked to from a site called MenuOfMenus.com, which I also designed.
Designed using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and ImageReady 3.0.

Gift Box
This Gift Box section was designed dynamically, with variables allowing for all of the New Times papers' various names and logos. The artwork and paper names adjust themselves automatically for each city. At right, you can see examples for New Times Broward*Palm Beach and Phoenix New Times. I also adapted this site in February as a Valentine's Day gift guide.
Designed using Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Macromedia Fireworks 2.0.

Best of LA 2000
Pictured right is the splash page to New Times LA's 2000 online readers' poll. I have worked on a number of "Best Ofs" for New Times, both readers' polls and final results. The work involves page design as well as coding and uploading the questions or winners from the print version's Quark Xpress files.
Designed using Adobe Photoshop 5.5.
